BEST TIME TO VISIT SELOUS GAME RESERVE

• The dry season, from June to October, is typically considered the best time to visit Selous. The wildlife congregates around water sources, making game viewing easier. With less vegetation, wildlife sightings are enhanced. Additionally, this period offers pleasant weather conditions with minimal rainfall, ensuring a comfortable safari experience.
• On the contrast, birdwatchers may prefer the wet season from November to May when migratory bird species visit the reserve.
