Day 1: Dar es Salaam | Selous Game Reserve
After being picked up by your guide in Dar es Salaam in the morning, you will head to Selous Game Reserve. You will arrive at your hotel just in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will experience an exciting boat ride on the Rufiji River with the possibility of seeing crocodiles, hippos and other animals in action. Afterwards, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Please note that it is also possible to arrange a pickup from Zanzibar.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive
Today you will spend the whole day game driving. Keep your eyes peeled for lions, elephants, buffalos, zebras, gazelles and the rare African wild dogs that are at home in the impressive landscapes of the game reserve. Selous has earned the prestigious title of a UNESCO World Heritage Site owing to its pristine wilderness of savannah grass plains, forests and rocky outcrops shaped by the Rufiji River.

Day 3: Walking Safari | Transfer to Dar es Salaam
On your last day you will go on a guided walking safari with armed rangers to experience the bush up close. A walk through the wilderness could lead you to secret waterholes and families of elephants playing in the mud. After the walking safari, your guide will take you back to Dar es Salaam or the airport for an evening flight. Please note that it is also possible to arrange your transport to Zanzibar.
