Meru Day Hike

Experience Mount Meru on a day hike. This trip takes you to the Miriakamba Hut, the first of the two sleeping facilities on the way to the summit. Depending on your endurance and speed, the ascent takes around 4 to 6 hours. Starting at Momella Gate of Arusha National Park, you will gradually ascend to Miriakamba Hut at an altitude of around 2,500 m and descend again for 3 to 4 hours. On the way you will get to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and great views of the surrounding valleys.
