Our Kilimanjaro Packages are all-inclusive packages that include all services and costs associated with climbing Kilimanjaro. This service guarantees an all-round carefree package for our clients and makes planning and booking easier. Below you will find a detailed breakdown of the cost factors and services included in our packages. Our offers can of course be adapted to individual needs and wishes upon request. When planning your Kilimanjaro climb, you should first choose the right route that fits your preferences, fitness level and budget. Here is an overview of the various costs according to the different routes we offer:

COSTS FOR ACCOMMODATION

There are two types of accommodation on Kilimanjaro, camping and staying in dormitory-like mountain huts.

On almost all Kilimanjaro routes you will spend the night in private tents. Contrary to popular belief, camping is not cheaper than staying in huts, since all the equipment has to be carried by porters and the camps have to be set up at different locations. The price essentially depends on the group size, the number of days and the service of the hiking crew.

Permanent huts for overnight accommodation are available exclusively on the Marangu Route. Unlike private tents these huts are like dormitories, typically allowing up to six to eight hikers to stay per cabin. Since the Marangu Route is one of the shortest routes to the summit, it is also one of the cheapest options.

COSTS FOR THE CREW

The costs for the hiking crew are included in the total price of our Kilimanjaro packages. The number of crew members assigned to a climbing group varies based on the route chosen and the group size. A crew usually consists of the following members:

OTHER EXPENSES

Most of your expenses cover our service, transfers, permits, taxes, park entrance and camping fees, guides, porters, meals and accommodation. Other costs for you to consider are:

Equipment and Gear: Consider expenses for renting or purchasing gear like clothing, sleeping bags and trekking poles, if needed.
Travel Expenses: This includes international flights, visas, travel insurance and pre/post-climb accommodations in Moshi or Arusha (our packages include pre-climb accommodation in Moshi)

Tips and Gratuities: Tipping Kilimanjaro guides, porters and support staff is customary and vital to their livelihoods.
Health Preparations: Costs may include vaccinations, travel health insurance and any necessary medications or consultations.
Miscellaneous Costs: Souvenirs, optional tours, extra meals and hotel nights can add to the costs.
