3 Days Kilimanjaro Hike

Following the Marangu Route, this trek takes you via the Mandara to the Horombo Huts at 3,700 m, marking the mid-way point to the summit. On the way you will experience two different vegetation zones. The initial day takes you through the rainforest to the Mandara Huts. After your first night on the mountain, you will continue towards the Horombo Huts. This part of the hike offers great views of the surrounding plant life and the majestic peaks of Kilimanjaro, especially on a clear day. On the third day, hike the trail back to Marangu Gate.
